The pros and cons of video conferencing

Video conferencing is similar to the popular video phones where you can call anyone anywhere in the world and not only talk to them, but see them on your computer or TV screen as you talk. The difference is that video conferencing is intended for larger conferences rather than the needs of individual consumers, with video surveillance being widely used.

While many companies have taken this technology under their wing as a useful tool, there are pros and cons to video conferencing that need to be considered before deciding whether or not it’s a good fit for your meeting needs.

Typically, a business that makes good use of the advanced features often finds that the money it saves customers or employees across the country or world more than offsets the cost of the service provider.
